I won't used caldesann's despair on anything seasonal, becuase I plan to get the stash and move on. You get a LOT of gems in a vault run if you were leorics broken crown and this will be much needed as I doubt people will bother having the helm in their farming builds for other activities. I had initially planned to augment all my gear with lvl 50 gems and then grind up as high as I could like that, but now I've seen how many gems are needed ontop of the other costs I think it's likely I won't bother at all until I hit a grift wall that isn't caused by low paragon level.įinally I just want to add that puzzle rings are super valuable now and I doubt we will see people choosing to ignore vault runs now because of the stupid number of flawless royal gems you need to augment gear. More importantly you CAN upgrade an item with a higher level gem if it's already been augmented but you CANNOT change the stat being added.Īugmenting uses a silly amount of resources and I 've not seen anyone post any info yet on when it's worth doing. This may seem obvious but to those who haven't been on PTR you must use the x3 flawless royal gem which corresponds to the stat you want to add.
